The election paperwork and candidate guide for the upcoming November 7, 2023 election are linked below. Election paperwork must be filed with Jeff Swartzentruber, Business Manager/Board Secretary. 2023 School Candidate Guide Election Nomination Petition Form Election Affidavit of Candidacy
Due dates are:
The first day that paperwork can be filed is Monday, Aug. 28
The last day that paperwork can be filed is Thursday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m.
Candidates need to obtain at least 50 signatures using ONLY the Nomination Petition form linked above. Please do not use any other form. The Auditor's office encourages candidates to obtain more than 50 signatures in case signatures are challenged and subsequently thrown out.
For completion of the Affidavit of Candidacy:
- This is a City/School Election on 11/7/2023
- The Candidate Affiliation is BLANK
- It must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public. MPCSD Human Resources Coordinator, Carmela Ulin, is a Notary.
