Excellence in Education
Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world in a caring learning environment.
Brian Stone, Superintendent
Mid-Prairie Community School District
I am beyond excited to be the next educational leader of the Mid-Prairie Community School District. I bring 27 years of educational experience with me and the understanding that relationships are the key to success.
Mid-Prairie has established success in various ways, whether in the classroom, the field of competition, or on the stage. All these are important in developing productive and positive members of our future society. Our staff will continue to facilitate the learning with the mindset that we are “Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world in a caring learning environment”.
Positive Culture
Mid-Prairie is blessed to have a staff with integrity and determination to work for the betterment of our students. We employ over 250 amazing people to make a difference for the students at Mid-Prairie. Our staff will continue to establish high expectations for our students as they want to build on what is already established.
Student Achievement
Mid-Prairie continues to strive for excellence in the world of education. Staff continues to look for ways to improve instruction through constant self-reflection. Staff is aware of upcoming strategies that can benefit student learning through collaboration amongst colleagues from the country. Mid-Prairie will continue to look for ways to improve educational opportunities for students.
Facilities with Strategic Focus
Mid-Prairie will continue to push toward realistic long-term goals. Putting our students in the best position for learning and life outside of the classroom is essential. Community support has been beneficial and a significant driver as they have always been so supportive. I’m anxious to be a part of the staff that continues to build on this as we move forward.
Communication
Mid-Prairie believes strongly that communication is a necessity for success. Through frequent and essential communication, relationships are established. Once connections are established, staff can continue to build relationships. Mid-Prairie strives to build on its well-established foundation established through positive communication. I want staff, students, and community members to know that I always have an open-door policy and believe in authentic communication. That said, please contact me if you have additional questions at 319-646-6093 (office) or 641-233-8662 (cell).
Make it a great day, and always Go Hawks!
Sincerely,
Brian Stone
