Poor Water Drainage

The field retains any amount of rain and takes days to dry out, unless we are out there with a shop vac vacuuming water off of the field:

In an attempt to get our home games in and allow for practices, we made every effort to keep water off the field with plastic covers. This takes a lot of time and effort to put out and pick up each time.

Backstop

Current backstop – Chain link fence that is old, curling at the bottom and lifting in places.  View is through a chain link fence with cross bars that can make it difficult to pick up the batted ball.

In order to prepare for the new backstop netting, volunteers have begun removing the backstop and ripping out existing poles and concrete.
