FASTBridge Information

What is the FASTBridge Screener?

This is a short, screening assessment that measures a broad range of skills for students at their grade level.  This assessment is built to be efficient to capture a child’s current level in comparison to grade level benchmarks, along with a measurement for growth over a school year. Our district uses the FASTBridge Screening Assessment in grades Kindergarten through eleventh grade.  These assessments provide an overview of how your child is progressing at a grade level benchmark three times throughout the school year.

How are the FASTBridge Screeners used at Mid-Prairie?

At Mid-Prairie, these efficient screeners allow a measurement of seeing how students are making progress throughout the school year.  These screeners also allow our school staff to see how students are making growth from year to year.  This information assists in guiding teachers in next steps to support students that may need additional instruction.
