CHECKLIST FOR COURSE REQUIREMENTS FOR PREPARATION FOR 4YR./2YR./WORKFORCE
Specific curricular area standards are listed below and include both state and local course requirements. A regular full year course will be completed in 18 weeks with block scheduling and will equate to a 1.0 unit credit. There are classes that will be completed in 9 weeks, which will equate to 0.5 unit of credit or 1 semester credit. One unit of credit is equivalent to two semester credits. The number of credits required to graduate from Mid-Prairie High School is 28 units or 56 semester credits.
All three (3) graduation requirement options will include the following requirements. Elective choices will depend on the graduation option selected. Approximately 60% of a student's course of study will be required courses with the remaining 40% elective courses.
