MP West Last Days of School
The end of the school year is quickly approaching! We’re excited to celebrate the end of a great year and our first year as MP West! Be sure to watch for the sack lunch sign up coming home (also attached to this newsletter). Our plans include:
On Tuesday, May 29th, we’ll have a PBIS field day! Students will participate in several outdoor games and activities, as well as a picnic lunch.
On the FINAL day of school, Wednesday, May 30th, MP West students will celebrate by going roller skating in mixed grade level groups in the morning, followed by an all school picnic lunch. (Note: The picnic is not a family picnic; it’s just for students and staff). The official dismissal time on the last day is 1:20, however, parents may pick up/check out students beginning at 12:30.
Lunch Balances/Library Books
Please be sure all negative lunch balances are paid up before leaving for the summer. Any money remaining in accounts will carry over to next school year. Also, please be sure all library books have been returned to the school library. Thank you!
Parents, if you have changed jobs, moved, or have a new phone number, please let us know so we can keep your child’s file updated. In case of an emergency we need to know how to contact you. Thanks!
If you did not get your order in for a yearbook, we may have a few extras available and will be distributed on a first come/first serve basis as orders are received.
Preparing for E- Registration
Mid-Prairie e-registration will open again in August for the 2018-19 school year. Each family should have a parent login ID and password for accessing your account on Power School. This is the same password/ID you use if you check grades, etc. on Power School for Middle School & High School students. We are encouraging you to locate these ID’s and passwords so you will be ready to register electronically in August. If you are not able to locate your ID & Password, you will need to contact one of the building secretaries to assist you. If you do not have access to a computer, we will have a time available in August at each of our district buildings to utilize a computer to e-register. Assistance will be available at that time as well. Please note that any Book/Student Fees for the 18-19 school year will be payable at registration.
Keep collecting those BoxTops over the summer! It is amazing how those labels add up and allow us to buy new items for our school.
