Student Spotlights

I love the staff here. There are teachers who work hard to prepare you for the future and teachers who are always there for you. They're teaching you and helping you along your way, but also being there as a safety guide for you. They're kind of like a family to me.

The teachers here are always more than willing to help you in class if you don't understand. There is a very wide selection of classes here, so whatever I decide I want to do in the future, there's a class I can take to help me with that.

The atmosphere here is very positive. Going to a smaller school, everyone knows everyone, and no one feels like a stranger. We're really lucky to have the opportunities we have through Kirkwood to earn college credits that can help us as we head into our future.

The best thing about being a Golden Hawk is attending a school district with excellent teachers and strong interpersonal connections as a result of small class sizes.

The teachers here always work with you to catch up on any work you miss. When I've had to be gone, one of my teachers spent her entire free block giving me an overview of everything I missed and needed to know. They are all very nice and really good teachers.
