Mid-Prairie has installed new shot put and discus throwing rings, but they aren't marked! Geometry students have been tasked with finding the center of these rings and other markings using theorems and ideas they have learned about circles this half. Last week, our kids tested some of their ideas in the parking lot, before officially marking the rings. #mphawks

Congratulations to our MPHS Students of the Week, Douglas, Johnathan, and Eliana! Douglas, Johnathan, and Eliana were nominated by Mrs. Seward, "They were absolutely amazing in the kitchen (Douglas and John), and as a server (Eliana) for the 8th-grade meal. Douglas and John were amazing with the food preparation, but really stepped up during clean up and stayed with the dishwashing process all the way through to the end, making everyone else's job easier!! Eliana was recognized by all of the adults helping with the meal as someone who stepped up, saw what needed to be done, and then did it!" Great work! #mphawks
