Congratulations to MPHS Student of the Week, Wendell Rodgers! Wendell was nominated by Mr. Troyer, "At the Build My Future Career Fair in Cedar Rapids, they always have a display inside a semi-trailer that includes a simulator to help recruit drivers. The guys in charge were sitting on the steps, turning kids away because their simulator wasn't working. Wendell to the rescue! He got it up and running, and everyone got to experience the driving simulator." Great work, Wendell! #mphawks

Mid-Prairie has installed new shot put and discus throwing rings, but they aren't marked! Geometry students have been tasked with finding the center of these rings and other markings using theorems and ideas they have learned about circles this half. Last week, our kids tested some of their ideas in the parking lot, before officially marking the rings. #mphawks
