The Mid-Prairie Girls’ track team are once again 2A State Champions! They were led by Marie Hostetler who took first in the 3000 meter and 1500 meter races. The girls Distance Medley relay won by .02 seconds and was made up of Abbigail Evans, Cassidy Rourke, Amber Swart and Hostetler. Hostetler also took second in the 800 m. The Sprint Medley team (Maddie Edgington, Cassidy Rourke, Mitzi Evans, Amber Swart) took third. Finishing fourth in the 4×200 meter relay were Amber Swart, Mitzi Evans, Maddie Edgington, Abbagail Evans. Tori Boyse finished in eighth in the discus. The Golden Hawk boys took sixth in the 4×800 relay (Quinn Schmidt, Brad Tornow, Miles Burrows, Justin Schwartz) and seventh in the 4×200 meter relay (Clark Latcham, Quinn Schmidt, Grant Boyse and Elmir Ganibegovic). The boys sprint medley (Latcham, Schmidt, Ganibegovic, Boyse) finished 11th.
