Enrollment is happening at MPCSD Preschools from January 30, 2020 to February 28, 2020! Please complete the form below and submit if you have a child whom you are enrolling for our 4 Year Old Preschool program (student turns 4 on or before September 15, 2020) OR our 5 Year Old Alternative Kindergarten program (student turns 5 on or before September 15, 2020). Anyone interested in our 3 Year Old Preschool program will complete a different enrollment form at a different time.
By filling out this form electronically and submitting it, you are reserving a spot for your preschool student or alternative kindergarten student at Mid-Prairie West Elementary in Wellman. Your registration will not be complete until you finalize it during e-registration prior to the beginning of school. You will receive further notifications on e-registration in summer 2020.
Please fill out the form completely. District transportation is ONLY PROVIDED TO STUDENTS WHO ATTEND A REGISTERED DAYCARE WITHIN THE MID-PRAIRIE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT. We do NOT provide transportation to ALL students. There is NO COST for 4 Year Old Preschool OR 5 Year Old Alternative Kindergarten.
Placement of students will be at Mid-Prairie West Elementary in Wellman, which is where ALL preschool students in MPCSD attend preschool. Placement of students is done to ensure a balance of numbers of students in all preschool sessions. Requests are not taken for placement decisions such as AM or PM. Preschool sessions in the AM are from 8:15-11:15 AM and in the PM from 12:15-3:15 PM. 4 year old preschool students attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There is no preschool for 4 Year olds on Wednesdays. Alternative Kindergarten students will attend class on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the PM section. NOTE: Schedules are subject to change and a start date will be determined at a later point in time.
