Meal Delivery Starts
The Mid-Prairie School District started providing breakfast and lunch today to district students through six pick-up spots located throughout the district. Nutrition Director Amber Kempf coordinated the effort by district cooks to prepare the meals in the district’s two kitchens. Transportation Director Teresa Hartley organized the district’s bus drivers to deliver and handout the meals.  Almost 300 students are receiving meals through this program during the time schools are closed at Mid-Prairie. This is an example of dedicated school employees coming together to deliver a valuable service to the students.
Teachers, support staff members and administrators are also working hard during this time to provide relevant learning opportunities and activities to students while they are at home.
