Congratulations to Mid Prairie Middle School students Ethan Schlabaugh, Jack Sorrell, Griffin Caskey and Rowan Miller for qualifying for the Mathleague National Championship after their performance at the April 29 Upper Midwest Online Competition! Around 70 students from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota joined the zoom room at 4:00 pm and completed four different test rounds with a countdown round and awards culminating at 7:45. The National Competition is typically held in June at Texas A&M but will either be held online or in-person later in the fall. This is the second year that Mid Prairie Middle School students have participated in Mathleague and the second year that MPMS students have qualified for the State and National Championships, with Griffin Caskey qualifying for Nationals both years.
