Mid-Prairie High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be November 9th and 12th from 3:30 - 7:30 pm.
Parent-teacher conferences are a great opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to connect and work together to support student success. Research shows that parent involvement plays an important role in academic achievement, and a 2025 study found that students whose parents attended conferences during early adolescence tended to perform better on later high school and college entrance exams.
At Mid-Prairie High School, these conferences are about more than grades. They are an opportunity for parents, students, and Seminar teachers to build positive relationships, get to know one another, celebrate student strengths, and talk about areas where students can continue to grow. Seminar teachers play an important role in helping students navigate high school, stay on track, and take ownership of their learning. Having a strong relationship between the student, parent, and Seminar teacher helps everyone work together and provides a support system for the student.
As students get older, we want them to become more independent and take greater responsibility for their education. Having supportive parents and teachers working together helps to reinforce those expectations while making sure students know they have people in their corner who care about their growth and success.
At Mid-Prairie High School, we believe it takes a team to help students succeed. Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity to build those relationships, strengthen communication, and work together to help every student reach their potential.
Please sign up for your opportunity to join us! We hope to see every parent at conferences on November 9th and 12th. Go Hawks!
