speech participants advance

The following Mid-Prairie students competed at Mid-Prairie High School in an Iowa High School Speech Association District Individual Events Speech Contest on Saturday, February 27. Each event performed for an IHSSA certified judge at Mid-Prairie High School.
Every member of the Mid-Prairie Individual Events Speech Team earned a Division 1 rating for each of their events, and are advancing to State Individual Events Speech Contest on Saturday, March 13 at Mid-Prairie High School. Congratulations to following students for qualifying in one event each: Diego Ayala, Gavin Frascht, Isadora Goode, Jennifer Sanchez, and Avery Slaubaugh. Also, congratulations to those qualifying in two events: Haydon Bailey, Olivia Caskey, Avery Frede, Kyra Helmuth, Emily Marner, and Elizabeth Meader.
