Sixth and seventh grade students from Mid-Prairie Middle School helped lead the elementary students of MP-East become Earth's Superheroes for their Maker Day celebration on April 26th. The Maker Day event coincided with literacy lessons on how the students can help protect the Earth. During the Maker Day event, the students created their own masks and capes from recycled materials to become superheroes.
