Fourth Grade Cardboard Challenge Begins

The 4th grade classes at MP West started work on their annual Cardboard Challenge.  This activity is based on the cardboard arcade started by a little boy in California, which became a YouTube sensation.  Every year in October Imagination.org challenges kids to use their imagination to create cardboard arcade games.  Amber Bridge, from Grant Wood AEA spent an afternoon with the 4th grade classes presenting the design method to the students. The students were then given an opportunity to let their imaginations go, and create a variety of arcade games on paper. On Friday, the students were partnered with 4th graders who had similar ideas. They will spend the next three weeks creating their games. The final presentation will be on Friday, October 26 where the students and guests will have the opportunity to play the games. #mphawks #seethestars #seeforyourself
