Following the film, attendees can select up to two breakout sessions to join.

Breakout session topics include:

A: Vaping, E-Cigarettes, and Marijuana, with the opportunity to tour a ‘mock bedroom’ where paraphernalia are ‘hidden in plain sight’,

B: Developing Positive Social Skills to Prevent and Deal With Bullying,

C: Angst: A follow-up Q&A about the film

D:  Reading and the Impact of Screen Time on Young Brains.

The Parent Academy welcomes ALL parents/grandparents/guardians in the Mid-Prairie community, including those who home school or attend private schools in the area. Free child care will be provided by the Mid-Prairie High School FCCLA chapter.

Please register your family to attend by completing the form found at: https://goo.gl/PT18Mv, or call Mid-Prairie High School (319-646-6091) with the number of people in your family who will be joining us for the meal and the number of children who will be joining us for child care.

While advance registration is not required, it will help with planning for child care and our meal.
