Last week, Mr. Walther's AP US History class visited the Main Library at the University of Iowa to research for their final papers. Students were able to choose a US history topic of interest to them and research primary & peer reviewed sources to use as evidence to support their argument. Students are also connecting to Iowa- events that took place in Iowa or Iowans who lived through their topics.

Students were trained on InfoHawk, the University's online database, to gain experience with online research. Students also visited Special Collections where they were able to view primary sources- some of which are one-of-a-kind. They enjoyed this unique experience! #mphawks
