Marching Band competes at State competition in Pella on Saturday. Oct 19th @ Pella Christain HS at 10:30 AM. Admission Fee: Adults – $12, Senior Citizens (62+) – $7, K-12 Students – $5
Stadium Echos Concert on MPHS Football Field, Oct 22, 6:00 PM, Free
Volleyball competes in regionals @ HOME starting on Tues Oct 22. Because it is a state event everybody has to buy a ticket - Ticket Link

Football will host a playoff game Friday October 25th, opponent announced Saturday at 10 AM. Tickets will be sold online. Ticket Link released later. If the Football team wins we will host a second round game on November 1st.
Cross Country competes at the district meet @ Pella Sports Park (Pella Christian) on Oct 24th @ 4:30 PM.
If they qualify, the state meet is Saturday, November 2 @ 2:00 PM(Girls) and 2:45(Boys) @ Fort Dodge. Tickets online.
The High School musical Matilda is November 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Tickets on sold online at https://mpdrama.booktix.com/
Dance Team has a competition Nov 16 in Newton. December 2nd State preview (open to the public) and State Dance is Dec 5th and 6th in DM.
Nine students qualified for State Special Olympics Bowling. They will compete in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, November 23rd.

Fiona McClellen (soprano) and Parker Thomas (bass) auditioned for and were accepted into OPUS, an All-State Choir for 9th graders. There are 180 accepted students in this choir, with 45 students on each part: soprano, alto, tenor bass. Over 140 students auditioned for bass, and over 215 students auditioned for soprano. Fiona was also selected as one of only four soprano soloists for the 9th grade choir. They will learn five new pieces of music and perform at CY Stephens Auditorium on the ISU Campus on Thursday, November 21st. Great work! #mphawks

Congratulations to Ruby Greiner, 7th grader, & Meredith Campbell, 8th grader, for being accepted into the 7th/8th grade Treble Clef OPUS honor choir! They auditioned for this choir - competing against hundreds of vocal music students across the state of Iowa for a spot in this 180-voice choir. They will perform on Thursday, November 21, at CY Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA. #mphawaks

The Royal Court spent Sunday and Monday at the Augustana College campus in Rock Island. They are greatly enjoying singing with other school students from around the area. #mphawks
