They have planned, organized, presented, and successfully completed 4 sessions of Unified Music already! They are hoping to gain interest from other students in the building to continue building on these music opportunities for our special education students. Meredith Campbell & Stella Miller auditioned for and were accepted into the 39th Annual OPUS All-State Honor choir. Last week, they performed for a sold out audience at CY Stephens Auditorium on the ISU Campus in Ames. They rehearsed all day, met many new friends from all over the state, and presented an excellent performance. Meredith Campbell was also chosen as one of eight students (out of 180) to perform in a small group during one of their five songs. Thank you to the Fine Arts Boosters and our Mid-Prairie district for their support of these amazing students and encouraging them to push themselves to new experiences! #mphawks

Congratulations to MPHS Student of the Week, Eli Conrad! Eli was nominated by Mrs. Puttmann, "Eli does a great job of asking questions and practicing the work in order to fully understand concepts in Algebra II. He processes problems individually and with small groups in a way that shows he is confident, yet always ready to learn more. We were also fortunate to have him showcase his talents by performing Taps at the Veterans Day Assembly. Great job Eli!" #mphawks

Last week MPHS Statistics students tossed Hershey's kisses to find a confidence interval to estimate the true proportion of kisses that land flat when tossed. The best part was eating the data while doing the math! #mphawks
