MP Activities week of Jan 22
Nine Mid-Prairie Large Group Speech Groups competed Saturday, January 20 at Keota High School for the Iowa High School Speech Association's District Large Group Speech Contest. All nine events performed by Mid-Prairie were evaluated by certified IHSSA judges, and earned Division 1 ratings. The entire team will be advancing to the IHSSA State Large Group Contest at Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf on Saturday, February 3.
Earning Division 1 Ratings at District Large Group Speech Contest:
One Act Play - Accused of Comedy - Jacob Carrillo, Harlie Gehling, Niah Leaton and Grace Puttmann.
Readers Theatre - Rap-Punzel - Chris Burnham, Jillian Clark, River Gehling, Abby Kraus, Brock Lowenberg, Aliza Parks, Daniel Rodgers, and Diego Sanchez.
