DON'T MISS IT! The Mid-Prairie Homecoming Parade will take place tonight at 5:45 pm. Parade route will start at the end of Main St. in Wellman and travel north to the YMCA. Join us afterward at MPHS for other activities and the Coronation of Homecoming King & Queen. #mphawks

The Mid-Prairie Student Leadership Team at MPHS hosted a community blood drive on Monday, September 11th to kick off Homecoming Week.
The drive collected 36 units, surpassing the goal of 33 units. Those 36 units have the ability to improve the lives of up to 108 patients and their families both in Washington County and the surrounding region.
We had 24 amazing first-time donors, which is critically important to the continued sustainability of the community blood supply!
A message from Impact Life Blood Center: The Mid-Prairie kids knocked it out of the park yesterday and your student volunteers were really on top of their game helping their friends through their donations! Thank you so very much Mid-Prairie!

Congratulations to our MPHS Student of the Week, Laurelin Geno! Laurelin was nominated by Mrs. Jones, who commented, "Laurelin is a hard-working, kind, and inquisitive student. Homecoming Week Activities!
Orlando Armando of Buzi Mozambique in Africa shared his story of coming to the USA with MP East 2nd Graders. He started as an English language learner, then took an English teacher training course. Currently he’s running a non-profit organization, Educate Mozambique that works with children who can’t afford a formal education. #mphawks
We are excited to invite members of the 2008 football team back for a reunion at the Homecoming game this Friday night! The 2008 team was one of the most decorated in school history. We are looking forward to seeing these Golden Hawks return Friday night!
Mid-Prairie Varsity Volleyball had a great day in Iowa City West High's tournament, going 4-1. The Golden Hawks defeated Ankeny(#3 in 5A), Regina(#10 in 2A), West High and CR Prairie. Their only loss was to Dowling(#1 in 5A) in 4 sets. Way to go Hawks!
Another great day for the Golden Hawk cross country team. Boys were first and girls were second against an absolutely stacked field at Monticello.
Abby Fleming, Emmett Swartzentruber, Jayse Yoder, and Preston Yutzy all had top ten finishes for the Hawks.
