MP activities schedule for week of Nov 13

A huge congratulations to recent MP graduates, Dillon Poole and Mose Yoder! They completed basic training, and their next steps will now be to complete AIT (Advanced Individual Training). Following AIT they will return home and continue to positively impact our community. We are very proud of you both! #mphawks

An exciting day for Karson Grout as he signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of Iowa! Congratulations! #mphawks

Congratulations to MP Coach Jeremy Meyers on being selected as a 2023 Cross Country At Large Coach of the Year in class 2A! MP Girls team finished 4th at state and the boys finished 10th.

Today in stats the students did an experiment to find the true proportion of Herseheys kisses that land flat when tossed. They worked with a random sample of 50 kisses and had to calculate p-hat and the standard deviation of p. #mphawks

On Tuesday, geometry students explored how changing the side length of a cube changes the surface area and volume of the cube while building block puppies and dogs. Students had fun building, counting and figuring out what happens to cubes with various scale factors. #mphawks

MP East 2nd graders had the best Social Studies field trip to the Kalona Historical Village! They had fun exploring & analyzing Iowa communities of the past and present. #mphawks
