14 students, staff and alumni from the Mid-Prairie Community School District have active roles in the Washington Community Theater's production of The Wizard of Oz. Performance dates are June 16 & 17 at 7:30; June 18 at 2:30, and also the following weekend on June 23 & 24 at 7:30 and June 25 at 2:30. Crews are hard at work removing all the old layers of surface on the track at the high school. Work is progressing very well! The materials that are being removed are being repurposed for a parking area adjacent to the baseball field. The new surface will be installed during the next several days. The surface will then need to sit for several weeks without any use. Once it is ready, new lines will be painted and the track will be ready for the upcoming school year. We are excited for the improvements for our students and community members! Go Hawks! #mphawks

These girls are on their way to the International Future Problem Solver Competition in Massachusetts.
