Every Student! Every Day!
Our 12 Student Leadership Team members at MP Middle School sold lollipops during the week of Valentine's Day for students to buy and send to other students with the purpose of donating their earnings to PAWS & More Animal Shelter. They worked the booth before school and during lunch. Then during Advisory time, would hand deliver the lollipops to each student. The 12 members of the team are:
6th Grade: Faye Johnson, Morgan McGlynn, Blair Northup
7th Grade: Ruby Regenwether, Ryleigh Bontrager, Zoe Waters, Hayden Norman
8th Grade: Elise Foster, Graci Hershberger, Aleeyha Hobbs, Stella Miller
Mr. Lampe and Ms. Schmitt are the sponsors for the team. Thank you to our Student Leadership Team members for their generosity and support of local organizations! #mphawks

How about this crew! Mid-Prairie girls soccer with 2-1 victory vs. Mepo in Regional Final. Play at Davenport Assumption on Friday for a chance to go to State! Go Hawks!

Great learning experience for our athletes, coaches and parents tonight at MPHS. We hosted our summer workout kickoff with our special guest speaker Cody Myers. Cody is a strength coach for the U of Iowa Football team. Some of Cody's main points:
1. play multiple sports in high school,
2. working out is an investment, not a sacrifice
3. consistency is the key if you want to see improvement
We also heard from Mid-Prairie strength coach Jeff Swartzendruber on the importance of being disciplined and proper nutrition.
Huge thank you to Kyle and Carleen Miller, Gentry and Michelle Yoder, Blake and Jenni Hershberger for providing the meal.

Last week, MPMS enjoyed a day in the sun for some kickball and Kindness Challenges around town. #mphawks

MPHS Principal Mr. Banks received probably one of the best senior pranks this morning! At 5:00 am, he opened his door to find about 30 seniors on his front lawn. They parked 3/4 mile away and pushed, pulled, and carried everything necessary to make pancakes, bacon, and eggs. They even cleaned up and loaded the dishwasher before they left! #mphawks

It’s almost graduation, and we want to celebrate our seniors. Make sure to leave them a note of encouragement and congratulations. Today we also celebrate Keegan. We’re proud of you! #mphawks
