The community is having a shirt fundraiser to show support to one of our own, Collette McClellen. Collette is the vocal music teacher, along with many other roles, at Mid-Prairie High School. She lives in Wellman with her husband, Matt, and four school-aged children. In May Collette found out she has breast cancer and started chemo shortly after. She has recently completed round four of six treatments. We are asking that at the September 15th Mid-Prairie home volleyball game and the October 14th home football game, fans wear pink in honor of Collette and cancer awareness. There will be other fundraising activities at these events as well. Please share this post and let’s show the McClellen family our strong Mid-Prairie community support! *Please note the store is only open for 6 days for a quick turnaround. https://stores.teamelitesports.com/mid-prairie.../shop/home #mphawks

East Elementary has started a new program called POP. This is a positive office pass. Students earn this award for showing exceptional Golden Hawk Pride. A staff member fills out the ticket, the student comes to the office, and they get a good news bracelet. Then Mr. J and the POP winner get to share the great news with parents. Today we had our first winner and it was an amazing call. We can’t wait to keep the good news coming home! #mphawks
