The sixth-grade social studies class played a modified version of a popular Mayan ball game. Students tried to keep the ball up without the use of their hands or feet, just like the Maya. But instead of heavy solid rubber balls, they tried it out with tennis balls!

MP-HSAP 2nd and 3rd graders are learning about adaptations and how animals are perfectly suited for their environment. Students made “blubber mits” to simulate how Arctic animals stay warm in icy waters and tried out a crab walk to show how these animals scurry across the sand.


Today Spanish 4 students at MPHS made fingerprint art to welcome Lola, one of the main characters of the class novel.
