Congratulations to MPHS November 8-12 Student of the Week, Anna Nafzinger! Anna was nominated by Ag Teacher Elsa Schmidt. Mrs. Schmidt said.... Anna goes above and beyond in the classroom and in activities that she is involved in. She is willing to work with anyone and is helpful to her classmates. She works hard in all of the activities that she is a part of. Anna shows leadership throughout her day, whether that is in the classroom, on the cross country course or leading elementary students in an activity. She takes an active role in her community and is involved in many activities here at school. She keeps up her grades while doing all of these extra activities. The Mid-Prairie girls team of Danielle Hostetler, Sydney Yoder, Jaden Yoder, Mitzi Evans, Abbi Fleming, Phoebe Shetler and Annika Poll capped off their season with their fifth consecutive class 2A team title. Representing the Golden Hawk boys team were Thaddeus Shetler, Emmett Swartzentruber, Chandler Hershberger, Preston Yutzy, Jayse Yoder, Nathan Wallington and Robert Nagy. The boys placed 6th at state.
