On Saturday, April 6, two students from the Mid-Prairie Home School Assistance Program participated in the 23rd Annual Mt. Pleasant Middle School Honor Band. The two students were Annika Poll on alto saxophone, and Kali Miller on flute. Both played in the 7th/8th grade band, directed by Stephanie Williamson.
The band's program was: "American Cameos" by Jay Dawson; "Eagles Among Us" by Brian Balmages; "Dark Ride" by Randall Standridge; and "Arabian Dances" by Roland Barrett.
MPMS students Abby Fleming, Joe Hall, Avery Slaubaugh, and Phoebe Shetler competed in the State Future Problem Solving Bowl in Ames this weekend. Freshman Lilou Beachy's scenario writing piece placed third in the State Middle Division. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the boys track team on their performance last night at Mount Pleasant. They had
21 PRs last night and had 3 winning relays. Those relays were the
1. Sprint Medley (Clarke Latchem, Josh Wallington, Aidan Rath and Grant Boyse),
2. 4x200 (Elmir Ganibegovic, Grant Boyse, Clarke Latcham and Aidan Rath)
3. 4x800 (Quinn Schmidt, Brad Tornow, Thaddues Shetler and Miles Burrows)
They also had one Runner-up finisher, Micah Gugel, in the shot put.
