The Mid-Prairie Choral Department will be presenting its 33rd Annual Madrigal Dinner. The dates for this event are December 11th (6pm), December 12th (6pm), and December 13th (5pm).

The Royal Sibling Family of King Eli Tandy, Queen Maëlys Beachy, and Queen Georgia White invite you to these grand evenings of music, revelry, festivities, and feasting. You will be entertained by all the choir members, including: the Court Jester, gypsies, beggars, dancers, knights, servants, recorder players, court singers, and play cast. At the end of each evening the Royal Court will present their concert.

This week, we are excited to give an MPHS Staff Shout Out to Mr. David Kunz, our MPHS Band Director!

Mr. Kunz is often the first person to arrive at school each day and one of the last to leave. He dedicates countless hours to helping our students grow, improve, and find success in Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Band. His passion for music and commitment to our students are evident in everything he does!

Most recently, the MPHS Marching Band earned yet another Division I rating at the State Marching Band Competition! This outstanding accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students and the dedication, leadership, and passion Mr. Kunz brings to the program every day.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Kunz as part of the MPHS family! Thank you, Mr. Kunz, for all you do for our students and for making music such a meaningful part of their high school experience. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our talented students and band program!

Congrats to our Mid-Prairie Girls Cross Country Team for winning the state qualifying meet and earnina trip to the state meet next Friday! Kendall Landstrum(2nd), Brooklyn Stutzman(4th), Tessa Brokaw(9th), and Rachel Hostetler(11th) all finished in the top 15. Ruby Miller, Kyrie Poll and Nikkari Poll also helped the team advance. Max Swartzentruber also qualified for state as an indivdual finishing 7th. See you in Fort Dodge next Friday!
