MP HSAP and MPMS students part of the robotics team, Eaglebots FTC 13532, earned the highest award at the State FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Championship this past weekend. Out of 170 total teams in Iowa and 72 at the State meet, they earned the Inspire Award. The Inspire Award is the highest honor in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), representing the team that best embodies the spirit of the competition. It is a judged award given to a well-rounded "role-model" team that excels in all areas, including robot technical design, engineering design process documentation, community outreach, and gracious professionalism, both on and off the field. It is based on team documentation, presentation, observations, and hours of team pit judging questions and responses. Congratulations to MP students, Ben Lothamer, Ella Chiang, Carl Gustafson, Maverick Diller, Maeve Diller, and Cecis Nuxoll! #mphawks
