Today Mrs. Whitten’s 2nd-grade Spanish class went to Mrs. Droll’s 1st-grade class to read their friends a book they have worked on for several weeks. They were able to showcase their hard work and practice their reading fluency while 1st-graders made connections to their own Spanish lesson. They were so proud of sharing their hard work! #mphawks

On Saturday, February 1st, a group of middle schoolers attended the Herbert Hoover Math Counts Chapter Competition. There were six schools and 16 teams in attendance (the competition lost an entire team to illness). The 7th-grade team scored 5th in their group, and the 8th-grade team scored 3rd. Great job! #mphawks
