Thinking about attending 2022 Mid-Prairie Spring Family Academy, but not sure what to expect in the breakout sessions? Here is one breakout session you might want to choose!
Establishing Boundaries and Routines
Lindsay Swartzendruber, Grant Wood Area Education Agency Autism Consultant, will provide a quick background on why establishing healthy boundaries and consistent routines have been proven effective in supporting children’s mental health and wellness, both in the classroom and at home. The majority of the session will include quick, easy to implement strategies parents can implement right away. Although all children can benefit from these strategies, children with executive function- ing challenges, ASD, ADD/ADHD and Anxiety may particularly benefit.
This is just one of a variety of breakout session options you can attend free at Family Academy. Don't miss out! Use the links below to register for the complimentary meal, child care and/or Real Colors training offered by MP's Kristan Hunter. Register by Monday, March 28th! #mphawks
