Melanie graduated from Iowa State University, and also received a secondary teaching endorsement in English from Buena Vista University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, attempting but never successfully completing crossword puzzles, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

We would like to introduce Mid-Prairie’s new HSAP K-6 Enrichment Teacher, HSAP Middle School Teacher and Cooperating Teacher, Miranda Miller. Miranda graduated from the University of Iowa in 2011. In her free time, she loves to enjoy nature and the “great outdoors”. Miranda likes to spend her time gardening and growing, creating art, reading and learning, playing with her children and simply being together with her friends, family and the community.
