Mr. Ron is an outstanding paraprofessional, and his care and compassion for our students are second to none. He is flexible, brings a positive attitude every single day, and his genuine joy for helping ALL students learn and succeed is contagious!

Throughout his time as both a teacher and paraprofessional, Mr. Ron has positively impacted hundreds of students. Our kids are incredibly fortunate to have someone who cares so deeply about them and is always willing to support, encourage, and guide them.

Ron, thank you for everything you do for our students and for the entire MPHS family! We appreciate you more than you know!

Sara is an outstanding teacher, mentor, and role model for our students and staff. Even when challenges arise, she consistently finds ways to keep her students engaged in rigorous, meaningful learning and focused on growth.

Sara’s commitment to her own professional growth, along with her willingness to try new things and continuously improve, makes her an incredibly valued member of the MPHS Family. She is also a tremendous advocate for ALL students and works hard to ensure every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

What’s the plan?

On November 3, 2026, Mid-Prairie voters will consider a proposed bond issue for the next phase of district facility improvements.

The proposed projects include:
• New band and choir classrooms, rehearsal space, and storage
• Renovated classroom space for special education
• Additional general education classroom space
• A new 500-seat auditorium
• A new events entrance with ADA-compliant restrooms and concessions

The proposed improvements are part of the district’s ongoing facility planning process, which began with community input in 2023.

We’ll continue sharing information about the proposed projects, plans, and the November 3 bond vote in the coming weeks.

The trip will include exploring San Juan and historic sites, swimming at Luquillo Beach, visiting El Yunque Rainforest and Ponce, experiencing La Parguera’s bioluminescent bay, visiting Icacos Island, and more!

Day 1 and 2: Get settled in the hotel, located within walking distance of the beach. Explore the modern and historic city of San Juan. Visit the 16th-century fortress overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Day 3 and 4: Swim at Luquillo Beach. Explore some of El Yunque Rainforest's waterfalls, as well as the park's diverse plant and animal life. Visit the old city of Ponce, including its ancient castle and cathedral. Visit the Japanese and butterfly gardens. Day 5 and 6: Participate in a cultural activity in San Juan. Travel to La Parguera, a fishing village turned resort town. Explore La Parguera's boardwalk and small shops. Board a pontoon boat and explore the bioluminescent bay. Board a catamaran to Icacos Island, with swimming and a stop at the coral reef. Optional snorkeling. All Mid-Prairie area students are welcome.
