During Friday's Kindness Challenge at MPMS, Mr. Lambert's advisory visited MP-East and spent some time with Ms. Mantz's kindergarten class practicing writing sight words, drawing pictures, and writing kind messages. It was a fun day working together! #mphawks
Last night Makenzie Flynn, MP Elementary Special Education teacher, was awarded the Friend of Education Award from Grant Wood AEA during GWAEA's annual award banquet. She was nominated by a GWAEA employee and was the only one selected by a committee at GWAEA to receive this award. She was nominated because of the excellent work she does with students, including the growth many of her students have made with AAC devices.
